On Tuesday, Dell released the G15 5525 laptop for gamers in India, featuring an AMD SoC. The laptop is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 6000H series SoC and a GeForce RTX 3060 series GPU from Nvidia. There are five different configurations of the laptop that have been released, each with a different price tag. Additionally, it has the Game Shift function, which enables users to activate a dynamic performance mode. Depending on the configuration customers choose to purchase, the RAM on the machines can vary from 8GB to 16GB.
Pricing and accessibility of the Dell G15 5525
The tech giant Dell has introduced G15 5525 laptops with prices starting at Rs. 83,990 for the base model includes an AMD Rembrandt R5 SoC and 8GB of RAM. Customers may be required to pay Rs. 89,990 for the 16GB RAM version. Users will have to pay Rs. 1,02,990 for the version with an AMD Rembrandt R7 SoC, and Rs. 1,07,990 for the version with an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU. Last but not least, the Nvidia RTX 3060 6GB GDDR6 model has a price of Rs. 1,27,990. On the corporate website, Dell Exclusive Stores, large format retailers, and multi-brand stores, the laptops are available in the colors Dark Shadow Grey and Phantom Grey with Speckles.
Specifications of Dell G15 5525
The new G15 5525 laptop computer has a 15.6-inch display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a brightness of 250 nits, and a full-HD resolution. The display specifications across all configurations are the same except for one. The laptop’s entry-level model includes an Nvidia RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6 GPU, 512GB CL35 M.2 Gen 4 SSD, and an AMD Rembrandt R5 SoC with 8GB RAM. It includes an orange backlit keyboard and runs Windows 11. The RAM of the first and second variants is the only significant distinction.
Similar specifications will also be included in the third version; however, the AMD Rembrandt R7 outperforms the first two. Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU will be available in the fourth variant of the Dell G15 5525 above the third variant. Last but not least, compared to the fourth variation, the laptop’s fifth version will have an excellently improved SoC, the Nvidia RTX 3060 6GB GDDR6 GPU, and a display with a 165Hz refresh rate.
With a double air intake, ultra-thin fan blades, copper tubing, and 4 vents, the new G15 5255 Dell gaming laptop has a thermal design inspired by Alienware for maximum cooling. By pressing the perform and Game Shift (F9) keys simultaneously, users can activate dynamic performance mode thanks to the included Game Shift feature. Additionally, it will have Alienware Command Center to increase fan speed.
